What are the differences between the Harley Davidson Sportster and Dyna Harley Davidson?
Looking through the catalog Harley Davidson motorcycle, I can not understand what are the specific differences between the Sportster and Dyna models so that costs about $ 6000 Dyna more. What do you want to This additional $ 6000? In addition, the Sportster really just a "women's"? are men who ride mocked by other owners Harley?
The Sportster is a little lighter bike with a smaller engine, (883) or (1200) The motor, primary drive and trans all have a shared drive. Dyna is a "Big Twin" 80 "(1340) or 88" for the newest engine models.The is a unit, main drive is a unit and the trans is a unit. The Dyna is a bike longer, taller and heavier than the athlete. Sportster are (usually) first Harley, a springboard to a Big Twin. Some never to grow, but most do. My old rode his 1200 for a year or two, then we took her a FXR is similar (but superior) to the Dyna. These days I see lots of chicks on big bikes so you can start a woman on a Sportster and move to a Big Twin as boys. And yes the guys who drive sports occasionally get some grief for it.
