The Dangerous Ringtone by Kardinal Offishall has quickly become one of the most popular ringtones in the world. Dangerous is a hip-hop/R&B song by Kardinal Offishall featuring Akon. Produced by DJ Kemo and hAZEL, it was released by radio on March 18, 2008, and by iTunes on April 1. Dangerous debuted at number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has since peaked at the 23rd position. The track also currently peaked #19 at USA iTunes Top 100 and #1 at USA iTunes Hip Hop/Rap charts.
The popularity of the song has helped make Dangerous such a popular phone ringtone. The track has also topped Canadian and Australian music charts, making the ringtone very popular in those nations as well as in the United States. Several mobile content providers have placed the Dangerous Ringtone near the top of their ringtone charts already.
