what are the different types of art reproduction prints?
i came across a collection of paintings and would like to know what type of prints they are. some have the texture of an oil painting while others dont. I do want to sell these, but I don’t know the difference between different types of prints to just list them on ebay.
are the smooth ones safe to be considered lithographs? what are the ones that have the actual texture?
No, I’m pretty sure that it’s not a lithograph. While lithographs are smooth, they are also hand made and really expensive. In the thousands.

More than likely they are silkscreen prints.
The thicker oil paint kind of throws me off. Usually they screen print the reproduction and then they go back over it with a thick layer of paint. If you don’t know too much about the paint, you should check carefully because some art students are required to copy master works for classes so that is what it could be.
