What type of wool is used in coats Military World War Two era?
I'm looking for the type of wool that has been used in World War Two era military coats. I have a trenchcoat WWII agent and so far it is my winter coat primary. It was given to me by my uncle. It's in decent shape but I would like to know what type of wool, ie the thickness quality or type-specific. It was done. My interest is more for my own information, but it seems that the layer is such as Fine, I would not bother me to get one is it simply more recent if there comes a day when I needed the money to do it.
There are four different layers used during World War II, the M-1941, M-1943, M-1944, and Experimental Tropical uniform. Knowing his wool coat and a winter, probably not Tropical. The 1941 was mainly wool, so probably not this one. In 1944 Eishenhower or jacket, is tall, and 1943 is dropped to his knees. That may reduce it for you.
