Coastal Living-the Outer Banks
Escape at all in the Outer Banks
For a long time now, people are aware of the Outer Banks to the white sand beaches lapped by clear blue waters. Some believe that the Outer Banks have become a bit too well known. Season Many beaches in the summer of banks, including Kitty Hawk, Duck and Nags Head north, and Morehead City, Emerald Isle, Salter Path Atlantic Beach and south become overcrowded and congested. Tourists and residents are forced to crawl along the road a way that works within and outside the area. As these places catering industry tourist who supported them, they sacrificed some of the characters of small towns have kept quieter. Duck, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head area is not much more than a band marketed, while stations in the Emerald Isle, Salter Path Atlantic Beach and Morehead City have around is full of go-kart racing, shooting arcade centers, family-fun horror that even many families. Surely you have all the necessities and large houses right on the water (even if on top of each other as well), but lost in the mass are the quaint shops and moments calm, respite true temper our hectic lives. During the summer months, a slice of the quiet sandy beach on the outer Banks became hotter commodity than the overhead Sun

Ocracoke-Located at the southern tip of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Ocracoke is accessible only by ferry. There is a free ferry from the National Seashore to the north that takes forty minutes. Cedar Island south there is a charge of fifteen dollars to a car, three dollars for a bike, and one dollar for individuals. This journey takes about two hours. Ocracoke is a small island and many people decide to leave the car on the continent, bringing cycling or using their feet for transportation. Ocracoke obtained its share of tourism, but the emphasis is much more low key than most other island hot spots. Many flocks of birds on the island to take pause migration. There are many walking trails and pristine beaches where many people also enjoy fishing. You can find everything takes at Bait and Tackle Shop Tradewinds. If you have not had any luck in the water, grab a bite at the Pub Howard, who has some of the best fruits Sea Island, a huge beer list, and audacity to stay open during hurricanes.
Cedar Island-Making a house in the middle of a National Wildlife Refuge and north-east of Morehead City, Cedar Island is one of the best places to see migrating waterfowl and other species flora and fauna. Cedar Island is not much in the way of business establishments, but many people believe that to be one of the strongest its assets. There are several places to stay on the island, including the Driftwood Motel. Located on the water, the Driftwood has a motel, campground and a seafood restaurant with a gift shop. Cedar Island benefits from its beaches face east, unlike those of Ocracoke, which helps safe from the fury of tropical storms and hurricanes that sweep in the region.
The Rest of the Cape south of the island Best Cedar to Beaufort and Morehead City, you pass through the quiet towns of the Atlantic, Davis and Sealevel. All have remained virtually untouched by the high abundance Tourism has scathed the rest of the Outer Banks. These spots are worth checking out. So next time you plan your getaway beach vacation, draw a different path. Head of the less crowded spots quieter. More than likely, you will not miss the crowds, and if you do, they will surely awaits you when you return.
