Why are some of my digital photos smaller in size when I send them to my PC than others?
Hi everybody,
I have a Kodak digital camera. Every so often I Bluetooth photos to my PC to back them up, and sometimes upload for friends and family to view. Sometimes the images transfer literally smaller than other times. The consequence is; some photos appear much smaller than other. Is there a way I can stop this from happening? I can use Paint to increase the size of the smaller photos but they then lose quality. Many thanks
While using bluetooth may be cool, you really need to remove your memory card from your camera and use the card reader on your computer to copy all the image files from it.
You can always later decrease the size of image files it you need to, but if you attempt make larger images from small ones, the will look terrible (pixelation is usually what happens)
ALWAYS use your cameras highest resolution. If for some reason you want to reduce the image size for posting on the internet, resize them to 600×400 @ 72 DPI/PPI and remember to rename them so you do NOT overwrite the original file.
