What do you think of the statue of Justice?
I just bought this statue. It is made of ceramic / porcelain. Themis is the Greek goddess of justice. In this representation, it holds the scales to show the equal distribution of justice without corruption. His sword is power, and she is blindfolded to show the execution of justice without favoritism. I admire you for your career in the application of criminal justice. I know many lawyers who have statues of justice that are similar to the example of what you bought. However, not all justice is blind. I saw a statue of "Justice" in London [Old Bailey] who was not blindfolded. Photo of the Statue of Justice [link below] on top of the Old Bailey. The Old Bailey is doubt the most famous criminal court in the world, and was the main criminal court in London for centuries. On the dome above the court is the statue of Lady Justice, a woman holding in her right hand a sword standing for the power to punish, and in his left hand a permanent balance of equity.
